QUICK HELICOPTER INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:
To prevent the Flybar Paddle from falling off the flybar,
make sure to apply Epoxy Glue or JP weld to the thread on the flybar before putting them together

To protect batteries, make sure to put extra electric tape around them. Also put tape on places where there is metal
connected to the batteries such as cross members, screws, etc

Dial Indicatoring: For the electric helicopters, it is very important to use a Dial Indicator to check the run out of the Pinion Gear shaft. Most of the vibration problems come from this. The run out should be no more than 0.002 inch (0.06 mm)

To prevent the Counter Gear and Tail Pulley Gear from wearing out and make them last longer, you should apply JP Weld glue to the pins of the Counter Gear and Tail Pulley Gear.

HELP AVOID HELI RF NOISES.
Every RC pilot has experienced RF problems one time or another. This is unavoidable. However, we can reduce the chances by taking certain precautions.
There are three main areas of concern to avoid RF glitches. These three areas are high speed metal to metal contact points:
1- MAIN SHAFT BEARING & BLOCKS
2-COUNTER GEAR ASSEMBLY
3-START SHAFT BOTH UPPER & LOWER BEARINGS
When assembling any heli kit these 3 areas
1- The main shaft should be loctited to the inner bearing race both upper & lower
2- Counter gear shaft loctited to both bearing
3- In the shaft bearing block, whether electric, gas, or nitro here again the pinion must loctited to inner race of the lower bearing.
Secondly the upper portion of start shaft itself should again be loctited to the upper inner bearing race in the starter shaft block.
In the case of the tail side plate bearing this area generally is too far from the receiver to be interfered with.....However, an once of prevention is worth ton of cure...or in this case a drop of BLUE loctite can save or prevent a crash.
It is also essential that outside race of the bearing also be loctited in the bearing block. If you do not have metal bearing block make sure what ever loctite you use will not have a caustic effect on the plastic material. A loose outer race against the metal bearing block would also be an area of concern.
